UX Research

Behavioural research on digital products — usability testing, journey mapping, and click-by-click observation grounded in ethnography.

UX research studies users to understand their needs, behaviours, and expectations — who they are, what they’re trying to do, where they struggle, why they avoid a feature, and what would make a product easier and more useful. It’s recommended mainly for digital products.

We’ve run UX research studies for clients across IT and transport, among other sectors.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical engagement take?
Most engagements run two to three weeks, depending on the scope of the journey we need to observe.
How many participants do you typically include?
Around 30 participants is the typical anchor, driven by the research question and the depth of the journey being studied.
How do you handle NDAs and data ownership?
We treat confidentiality and data ownership with strict clarity, agreed in writing before a project begins. Your data and findings are yours.
What do you actually deliver?
A clear report, a live debrief with your team, and the raw material behind the findings — session recordings, highlights, and edited clips.
