Why D2C brands need ethnography, not another survey

Most D2C founders I meet have already run a survey or two. They have a slide that says 73% of customers love the product. They cannot reconcile it with the fact that 60% of those same customers do not come back.

This post is about that gap, and why a different instrument is needed to close it.
